You can keep your confidence high in the face of contradictory circumstances by holding fast to your confession.
Hebrews 4:14 (NKJV)
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
You can stay motivated when the evidence of the sense realm suggests that you are not going to receive your heart’s desire by holding fast to your confession. You can remain inspired when it looks like your dreams are not going to come true by holding fast to your confession. Keep on saying what God’s Word says! This is the essence of faith; continually saying what God says regardless of what is revealed to the senses. You reinforce your faith when you agree with God’s Word by speaking it.
You can stay motivated, and you can remain inspired, when you agree with God’s Word by speaking it. Your success in life is going to be measured by the tenacity with which you hold fast to your confession under all circumstances, regardless of whether those circumstances are positive or negative. Jesus said that you will have whatever you say because when you speak faith-filled words of life and blessing, it is Jesus the living Word, who is guaranteeing the efficacy of God’s Word in your life (See Hebrews 7:22 AMP).
