My name is Jim Collins and I am the founder of Beyond Positive Thinking Ministries. I am an ordained minister with the IMA (Interdenominational Minister’s Association) and the Pastor of Victory in Christ International. My wife Peggy and I make our home in Jupiter, Florida.
The theme of this ministry is Success and Motivation in the Scriptures. Our objective is to filter success principles through biblical truth as we teach people how to tap into the Force that created the universe so they can access God’s ability and experience God’s Power!
After reading and listening to hundreds of motivational books, tapes and CDs I found that the principles the positive thinking gurus were espousing were simply biblical truths that would work for anyone who applied them. I set out to teach these biblical success principles and the result was the book, Beyond Positive Thinking: Success and Motivation in the Scriptures. You can get a copy here.
Two of the hundreds of motivational books I read were Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence People, and it’s been said that every other motivational book has stemmed from these two. The way you tap into the Force that created the universe (the way you access God’s ability and experience God’s power) is by learning how to live by faith and walk in love. The phrase “Live by Faith” sums up the book Think and Grow Rich. The phrase “Walk in Love” sums up the book How to Win Friends and Influence People.
