Luke 21:26 (AMP)
People fainting from fear and expectation of the [dreadful] things coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken.
The way you know if you are ready for the end times is by determining whether you are living in a state of faith or fear. Simply put, both faith and fear expect something. During the end times, many people will faint from fear due to the foreboding of what will come upon the world. In other words, they expect the worst. Some people will be so frightened that they will self-destruct because of what is happening in the world. Don’t let that describe you!
Fear lives with a lack of confidence; faith lives with self-discipline and self-control. Fear gives place to the devil; faith releases the power of God. Fear focuses on what’s missing in my life; faith rejoices because I have power, love, and a sound mind.
Fear talks about how bad my circumstances are; faith talks about what God says about my circumstances. Fear reacts to circumstances; faith responds to circumstances with the Word of God. God has guaranteed your protection and provision according to His Word – expect that!
A new creation person no longer has to react to circumstances. A new creation person no longer has to be in bondage to the sense realm. A new creation person can respond to circumstances with power, love, self-discipline, and self-control. A new creation person can respond to the sense realm with a spirit of faith – speaking words out of a believing heart; declaring what they believe, and taking action on what they confess.
