Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would manifest the power of God in your life; therefore, when you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit you also receive the ability, wisdom, and strength of God.

Acts 1:8a (AMP)Holy Spirit Man Receiving
“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.”

Power includes ability, wisdom, and strength.  Notice the words: “power, ability, efficiency, and might.”  Efficiency refers to wisdom; might refers to strength.  Jesus is saying that the Holy Spirit is going to manifest the power, ability, wisdom, and strength of God in your life.

You have access to infinite power, ability, wisdom, and strength because the power of God in person of the Holy Spirit has come upon you.  What that means to you is this: The Holy Spirit will now enable and empower you in all you do.  The Holy Spirit will enable and empower you in all you do.

The word “enable” refers to wisdom; the word “empower” refers to ability.  Wisdom is knowing what to do; ability is knowing how to do it.  The Holy Spirit will manifest the wisdom to know what to do and the ability to know how to do it… in every area of your life.  The way you realize your God-given dream is by knowing what to do (wisdom), and then knowing how to do it (ability).  The Holy Spirit will manifest the wisdom and ability you need to realize your God-given dream.

The plans, the necessary steps, and the details for the accomplishment of your goals and the realization of your God-given dream will be revealed to you during your times of daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit.  The power you need, the ability you need, the wisdom you need, and the strength you need to be successful in life are imparted to you when you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will help you establish your success.

Finally, let’s talk about the difference between motivation and inspiration.  Motivation is external and it comes from people; inspiration is internal and it comes from the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is the breath of God.  In fact, the word “inspiration” has the same definition (in Webster’s Dictionary) as the word “breathe.”  Jesus breathed on the disciples (in John 20:22) and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”  The Holy Spirit is your personal inspiration.

The Holy Spirit is the presence and power of God in the earth today.  You can learn more about the role of the Holy Spirit and your success in life by ordering our 6-CD series: The Role of the Holy Spirit in the New Creation.  Click here to order
