Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Jesus is alive today, and He’s praying for His strength to be manifested in your life! You have free will; you can cooperate with the prayers of Jesus by initiating your own attitude adjustment. The next time trials occur in your life you can respond with: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” When you make that bold confession, you will be releasing the power of God into your life. You can do everything you need to do through Christ who gives you strength.
Faith and fear both expect something to happen that has not yet happened. Faith produces positive results; fear produces negative results. Fear is negative faith. You will experience negative circumstances in your life if you activate fear by thinking negative thoughts, speaking negative words, and taking negative actions.
Conversely, when you act on God’s Word in the face of negative circumstances, you are responding in faith and your circumstances will start to improve. You are acting on God’s Word when you say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
You are either forming positive or negative habits depending on your thoughts, words, and actions. The process of forming habits is producing the results in your life. What you allow to occupy your mind will sooner or later determine your speech and your actions. You can change the way you feel by changing the way you think, changing what you say, and changing how you act. Making the affirmation, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” is a great place to start!
