Love comes from God because God is love. Both the precept and the principle of love point to the person of God Himself.

What happens when you try to listen to Christian music on the rock music station? What happens when you try to listen to country music on the jazz station? If you do not tune in to the station you want to listen to, you will not hear what you want to hear. When a station broadcasts on 89.9 but you tune in to 90.1, what you hear from the station is mostly muffled noise. Wrong station or slightly off on your tuning, the end result is about the same; you cannot receive what the station is broadcasting. The problem is that you are on the wrong frequency. The sender is in control of the frequency. If you want to hear the sender’s program you must tune in to the correct frequency, the sender’s frequency.
God is the sender and you are the receiver. You could be doing everything else right, but if you are not tuned in to God’s frequency you will not be able to receive from God. You must be living on God’s frequency to tap into the force that created the universe. God is the sender and He is in control of the frequency. It is your responsibility to adjust your frequency to match God’s frequency.
Love is God’s nature; love is God’s frequency. Your re-created spirit has already received the God-kind of love. This agape love that is now within you is meant to be directed toward other people. Agape love promotes cooperation and helps you to get along with other people. Life becomes easier and more productive when you get along with others, and getting along with other people means loving them. Adjust your frequency and enjoy the benefits!
