Experiencing resurrection power equates to experiencing God’s grace.

grace-001John 1:17 (NIV)
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Grace means you are blessed by God even though you don’t deserve it.  The reason many Christians are not more successful is because subconsciously they feel like they don’t deserve it; therefore, they try to earn it through their obedience.  The problem with that is God’s grace is undeserved and it can’t be earned.   God’s grace came through Jesus Christ, and if someone never embraces Jesus and who they are in Christ, they will never experience resurrection power and the grace of God.

God’s grace (which includes the free favor of God) is activated as you believe in your heart that you have been washed, sanctified and justified (1 Cor. 6:11).  Important point now: Believing in your heart that you have been washed, sanctified and justified doesn’t mean you just sit around and do nothing.  On the contrary, it activates the grace of God, which enables and empowers you to do more with less effort.  This is how effortless change and sweat-less victory take place in your life.  You are doing more, but now, you are not doing it in your own power; you are doing it by the grace of God as you enjoy the favor of God.

Many times when we talk about faith righteousness and the love of God, this attitude may comes up: If I’m justified by faith in Jesus, then I can just live any way I want; I don’t have to concern myself with living a godly life.  The reason for this attitude is because when someone gets saved, they try to live the Christian life in their own effort and it doesn’t work.

The apostle Paul addressed this in his own life when he said, “I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God’s law” (Phil. 3:9, NLT).  See, many times we want to be saved by grace, but stay saved by works.  We receive eternal life by the power of the Holy Spirit, but we try to express the divine nature in our own power.  This is why staying filled with the Holy Spirit is so important.  Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Helper, and the Holy Spirit is going to teach you about experiencing resurrection power to the point of believing it in your heart and experiencing it in your life.  You can experience the grace of God through an inward attitude that believes that you have been washed, sanctified and justified through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Experiencing resurrection power is only possible with the help, and by the power, of the Holy Spirit.  You can learn more about how to experience the grace of God in your life by ordering our 6-CD series, Experiencing Resurrection PowerClick here to order.
