The birth of Jesus was the incarnation of God, the entrance of the Creator into His creation.

John 1:1, 14 (NKJV)Why am I qualified
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

There are three things revealed in this week’s Success Scripture that will help you in the coming year.

First, God and His Word are one. The efficacy of the Holy Bible as God’s Word is based on historical accuracy and prophetic proof. Therefore, the Holy Bible, which is the Word of God, is a reliable source of truth for every person.

Second, the corresponding Hebrew terms for the words “grace” and “truth” are often translated as “unfailing love” and “faithfulness”. God’s unfailing love and faithfulness are both found in Christ. Because of Jesus, you can experience God’s unfailing love and faithfulness.

Third, the result of God’s grace and truth is God’s unconditional love. Question: Have you received God’s love personally yet? Or are you still relating to God based on your performance? Most people today still think God blesses them when they do right and curses them when they do wrong. The truth is that God has already blessed you through the finished work of Christ, and because of Jesus, God loves you apart from your performance and achievements.

This revolutionary way of embracing God’s love is the key to enjoying the favor and blessing of God. When I really appreciate what Jesus did for me, the Holy Spirit (the spirit of grace) helps me live a godly life. The impetus for right living is to receive God’s love personally, and receiving God’s love personally is based on knowing and believing that God loves you unconditionally because of Jesus. Jesus qualifies you for God’s unconditional love, favor and blessing!
