God is interested in people because people are God’s most important resource on the earth.

Genesis 1:26-27 (MSG)
26
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature…”
27
God created human beings; He created them godlike, reflecting God’s nature.

Every great leader will embrace the fact that God is interested in people because people are God’s most important resource on the earth.  Here are three reasons why God is interested in people:

1. God is interested in people because people were created by God in His image, reflecting His nature.  God put His DNA in people, and because God’s DNA is agape love, walking in love is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.  Walking in love is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.

2. God is interested in people because people are God’s hands and feet in the earth.  In other words, in God’s economy, nothing gets done on the earth without people.  Therefore, cooperating with people is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.  Cooperating with people is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.

3. God is interested in people because people are eternal, just like God.  This means that we must relate to people the same way God does.  The Bible identifies good leaders by how they treat people, not by how they use people toward their own agendas.  There is more to your existence than just what happens in your life on this earth.  Therefore, embracing an eternal perspective is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.  Embracing an eternal perspective is an integral part of becoming the leader God created you to be.
