Both the medical and scientific communities agree that life begins at conception.

Isaiah 44:2, 24 (NKJV)Baby in Womb
2 Thus says the
Lord who made you and formed you from the womb.
24
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb.

Isaiah 44 verses 2 and 24 both say that the Lord your Redeemer made people and formed them from the womb.  Therefore, defending the life of an unborn child must continue to remain a priority for biblical voters.

This is confirmed by our governing documents – the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence – which both intimate that the most important function of government is to protect inalienable rights.  The Unites States government was established on the thesis that certain rights come from God rather than men; therefore, the government should protect those rights.  Where a candidate stands on the issue of abortion is of paramount importance, and it’s also one of the indicators of how likely he or she is to protect other inalienable God-given rights.

Now I want to quote, first, from the 2016 Democratic Party Platform.  The Democratic Party Platform reads this way starting on page 25:

We will appoint judges who defend the constitutional principles of liberty and equality for all, and will protect a woman’s right to safe and legal abortion.

Next, I’m quoting from page 37:

We believe unequivocally, like the majority of Americans, that every woman should have access to quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion — regardless of where she lives, how much money she makes, or how she is insured.  We will continue to oppose — and seek to overturn — federal and state laws and policies that impede a woman’s access to abortion.

Finally, I’m quoting from page 46 of the Democratic Party Platform:

We will support sexual and reproductive health and rights around the globe.  In addition to

expanding the availability of affordable family planning information and contraceptive supplies, we believe that safe abortion must be part of comprehensive maternal and women’s health care and included as part of America’s global health programming.

Therefore, we support the repeal of harmful restrictions that obstruct women’s access to health care information and services, including the “global gag rule” and the Helms Amendment that bars American assistance to provide safe, legal abortion throughout the developing world.

Based on what we’ve just read from the Democratic Party Platform, not only does the Democratic Party support abortion, but they support the spread of it around the world

At this point, it’s worth noting that the Holy Bible never condones abortion.  It’s also worth noting that both the medical and scientific communities agree that life begins at conception.  In fact, the physical heart starts just 18-21 days after conception.  The obvious conclusion is that abortion is murder, plain and simple.

Now I want to quote from the 2016 Republican Party Platform.

On page 13 the Republican Party Platform reads:

The Constitution’s guarantee that no one can “be deprived of life, liberty, or property” deliberately echoes the Declaration of Independence’s proclamation that “all” are “endowed by their Creator” with the inalienable right to life.

Accordingly, we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed.  We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to children before birth.

The Republican Party Platform goes on to say:

We oppose the use of public funds to perform or promote abortion or to fund organizations, like Planned Parenthood, so long as they provide or refer for elective abortions or sell fetal body parts rather than provide healthcare.  We urge all states and Congress to make it a crime to acquire, transfer, or sell fetal tissues from elective abortions for research, and we call on Congress to enact a ban on any sale of fetal body parts.

From what we’ve just read, we can conclude that the Republican Party does not support the promotion of abortion.

The United States is one nation under God – let’s keep it that way by voting the Bible in the upcoming election on November 8th.
